Awaken Ministries takes discipleship seriously. Leading someone into relationship with Jesus (salvation) is not the goal for our team. Our primary focus is making disciples. We believe in walking with someone after salvation and helping them to grow in their relationship with Christ. Disciples making disciples is the model Jesus laid before us and that is what we follow.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

A Relationship with Jesus Christ
Receive Salvation.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. –Romans 10:9
You are forgiven.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. –1 John 1:9
You are a new creation.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! –2 Corinthians 5:17
Love Him.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. –Romans 8:28
Obey Him.
Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” -John 14:23
Trust Him.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. –Proverbs 3:5-6
